I am a licensed Registered Nurse and NCEA certified skin care specialist with high ethical standards of practice. My background in nursing, life experiences and a deeper interest in the mind body connection in relation to how we show up in life led me to a new path towards health/wellness and skin care.
I believe how we look and feel affects how we live.
Working as a lead esthetician in a large full service day spa for several years prior to going solo allowed me to serve a broad range of clients. I built a strong client base that respected my knowledge and experience. My ability to listen and understand skin concerns helped me deliver visible results.
I strongly believe that my past experience, continued education help to fuel my passion, strengthen my skills, understand the complexities of skin and to be proficient at services offered.
I founded Choosejoy! Skin, LLC in 2014 and have become one of only seven listed NCEA certified Skin Care Specialist in the State of New Jersey, which is the highest achievable certification nationally to date.
Part of my desire to stay connected to nursing outside of medicine led me to obtain my Oncology skin care therapy certification. I am able to serve the cancer community with a safe, skilled, and compassionate approach to restorative skin care.
April 2016, I competed in the 1st ever national esthetician competition, The Skin Games. I was judged and voted as a Top 5 Finalist the Age Management category by the top industry experts and leaders.

I achieved my DMKSkin paramedical skin revision certification.
As a partner with DMKSkin as certified skin revision clinic I have the education knowledge and tools as well as support to help every client regain confidence, look and feel their best, achieve optimal skin health, so that any advanced, medical or surgical procedures have the best potential for an optimal outcome.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, friends, tasting fine wines, fine dining, music, travel, Art, watching the trees each season change in the beautiful Monmouth County where I am fortunate to live and work.
